We’re so spoiled here in Southern California. We get our summer in February, and whine when we have to compromise with anything but sunshine. However, don’t those east coast bilzzards get you down. Put on your best coat, grab a coffee from that cafe you’ve been meaning to check out, or, if you so choose, stay home and catch up on your Netflix queue. For all of the homebodies out there, The Golden Filter just released the official version of “Hide Me,” the first single of their debut album Voluspa, due out in April. It’s a glittery trip into wonderland, with a subtle sweetness that will make your rained-in Friday night a little more bearable. For those who are a little more daring, there’s the Rory Phillips remix of the latest New Young Pony Club single ”Chaos.” It’s a bass-heavy discofied gem, and the perfect soundtrack to a night out, even if it’s a little damp outdoors.
