Released as a Christmas single in 2000, the fourth single from Kylie’s “comeback” album, “Please Stay” features handclapping, a furious Spanish-esque guitar, and a plea to keep the dancefloor burning up. The video is a quirky little clip with a fire pole shimmy and some of the dancers and fantastic choreography from the On A Night Like This tour. It’s essentially a ballad produced as a double-time disco track, with some of Kylie’s best soprano harmonies in the chorus.
