Here’s the pitch: “Are you a Sword Swallower? Tap Dancer? Magician? Impersonator? Holder of unique trick or talent?” Maybe Dead Man’s Bones member Ryan Gosling shared an episode of Letterman with Stupid Human Tricks? Or maybe one gimmick deserves another? Anyway if you have talents and want to share them on stage as an opening act, get in touch with the band. They’re looking for 5-8 acts per date, and “due to the extravagant nature” of these shows, you won’t be able to sound check, even if you’re a singing juggler, or what have you. Audition tapes are being accepted via email and at their label office here in Hollywood.
