Shonky and Dyed Soundorom in LA this Sunday… for the moms

Ok, maybe not for the moms, but if your mom knew a thing about techno she would agree this is show to see this weekend. Both Frenchmen, Shonky released his first artist album, TimeZero, about a year ago and it was easily one of best dance records of 2008. Dyed Soundorom (that’s his real name) is making his first visit to LA, home of Damian Lazarus who asked Dyed to launch the digital division of his label, Crosstown Rebels . Both are signed to Dan Ghenacia’s Freak n’ Chic label and live near each other in Paris. The thing that makes them both cool is that while they produce and spin credible, cutting edge techno, it’s also entirely accessible.
